Red Gables

Red Gables offers two luxury, self-catering holiday apartments, each spread across a full floor of the building and benefit from spectacular views of the North-East coast from Huntcliffe in the West to Redcar, Hartlepool and further in the East.

The building was purpose built as a hotel in 1875, converted to a girls school in the 1920s, then split into two public houses separated by a Masons Lodge just after the war. In 2002 we converted the west wing into three luxury apartments and a cottage.

The Apartments

The apartments each occupy a full floor of the building and benefit from high ceilings, spacious rooms and all modern conveniences. They also both share access to a lower balcony and a substantial garden.

When are you Open?

Red Gables is open for bookings all year round, with shortbreaks of a minimum of three nights available in the off-season, with prices starting from as little as £75 per night.
